Coaching and Mentoring

Coaching and mentoring can make a significant difference in schools, both to individuals’ performance and to their job satisfaction. It provides focused, professional advice to help people to break down the barriers to success and to develop their role.
Comprised of highly-skilled and empathetic coaches and mentors, our team has extensive experience in schools or colleges  - including highly-qualified specialists in areas ranging from teaching and learning to behaviour management.
Our coaches share a belief in the value of the benefits of coaching and mentoring in building confidence amongst staff and students and helping teams and individuals to make measurable progress in realising their potential and increasing their effectiveness. We take pains to match mentor and mentee carefully to the best advantage of both the individual and the school.
We have the capacity to be flexible and to combine a number of services to match the exact needs of the individual or team. Our coaching teams
Our standard provision addresses the needs of:
NQTs, recently-qualified teachers, heads of department, aspiring middle and senior leaders and support staff (teaching and non-teaching)

  • Whole departments and senior leadership teams

Our standard coaching/mentoring formats include:

  • Group training sessions, one-to-one meetings, telephone and email coaching, model and team teaching and strategic networking

  • The induction of staff who are newly-appointed to management roles
  • Improving communication skills 
  • Personal skills development
  • Building and maintaining self-esteem
  • Managing under-performing or difficult staff
