On this course you will learn about the new Ofsted Common Inspection Framework and the key judgements which inspectors will be making. We will work through the Grade Descriptors for each judgement and examine the key differences between the grades. Classroom observations are the most important evidence of the quality of learning and progress across the school and, using video lesson examples, we will look at and practise observation techniques, and including giving constructive feedback to colleagues and identifying CPD needs for future development.
Very useful to increase confidence and knowledge of what to look out for in lessons and how to record and feedback. It will improve my practice and the way I myself prepare for lesson observations. Dóri Seregély, Jack Tizard School
