DEPARTMENTAL REVIEW


This service is designed to help your school move forward with a specific subject area in Primary, Secondary or Special phases.

Creative Education has access to a wide range of subject specialists throughout the country. All consultants have experience of senior management of schools.

The purpose of the departmental review is to appraise the current position of a department and provide facilitated support for the subject co-ordinator or Head of Department and subject team.

Routinely the process involves:

  • Appraisal of the current stage of subject development
  • Feedback on this position to staff
  • Agreement of an action plan which continues to support the Whole School Improvement Plan
  • Monthly monitoring visit to review progress

The review and support process evolves over the course of a term and enables staff to continue with departmental improvement. It provides a particularly good preparation for Ofsted inspection and the current focus on Self-Evaluation.
