| How can I view the courses I am due to attend? |
| Simply click on the
log in tab in the top right of the screen, then fill in your username and password. Once you have logged in you will see a My Courses option on the left hand side of the screen. Select this to view the courses you are due to attend, the courses you have attended, and courses on your wishlist. |
|
| Where will my course be held? |
If you have already purchased your course, you can find out where it will be held in the
My Courses area of the website. See previous
question to see how to access this page. The venue where a course will be run rarely changes, but because it sometimes does you will see the word Provisional by it. 14 days before the course runs we confirm the venue, you will see this changes to Confirmed, and the venue will not change after this point.
|
|
| Who will the course leader be? |
| So that we can offer a wide range of courses, we
have a number of different course leaders able to deliver a certain course. This
sometimes means that we do not confirm which course leader will be delivering
the course until close to the course date. |
|
| What should I wear? |
| Generally, our courses are held in a hotel environment with a smart casual dress code. For certain courses however – such as practical Art courses – a different dress code is required. Check the event details in the My Coursesarea
of the website. |
|
| What times does the course start and finish? |
| Generally, courses start at 10am and finish at 4pm. To be sure, visit the My Courses
area of the website and view the Practicalities box towards the bottom of the
screen. |
|
| Why have I not received any information about my course? |
| We send out confirmed information about your course 14 days before. If it is 10 days or less to the date of the course and you have still not received any information, please
contact us as soon as possible. |
|
| Why do your courses run with so few people on them? |
| There are many benefits to running courses in smaller groups – you have more opportunities to ask the course leader questions, the course leader can tailor the course to your needs and address your concerns directly and it allows us to offer more courses on specific topics that you can’t find elsewhere. We limit our courses to a maximum of 16 participants to make sure you get the ideal learning environment. |
|
| How do you choose your course leaders? |
| Whichever course leader is assigned to deliver your course you can be assured that they have undergone a rigorous evaluation for their ability to facilitate training, the breadth of their experience and the depth of their subject knowledge. |
|
| Can I be one of your course leaders? |
| We are always looking for new talented educationalists to deliver our training, and also for permanent and interim roles in other schools. If this sounds like something you would be interested in you can
apply for a position here. |
|
| I booked online, has my booking gone through? |
| You should receive a confirmation email when your make your booking online. If you have not received this – and would like to confirm if your booking has been received – please
contact us. |
|
| Can I make a provisional booking? |
| Yes. We recommend you make provisional bookings with us if you know you wish to attend the course but haven’t received sign off yet, to reserve your place in case a course should fill up. To make a provisional booking simply
call our bookings team. |
|
| Can I cancel a course? |
| You can cancel at any time, although depending on when you cancel the course some cancellation fees may apply. This is because we incur costs that we cannot recover after a certain point before the course. |
