We offer help, support and guidance to anyone who works in and with schools and colleges across the U.K. and beyond. As well as offering support in areas identified by us, we listen carefully to requests submitted by schools and make a concerted effort to match their needs closely with the help we can offer.
Our interim managers must:
like children, enjoy working with them and have their best interests in mind at all times
have substantial experience in school, local authority or children’s services
understand the different demands of substantive and interim management
have good inter-personal skills to establish effective working patterns and relationships swiftly
be passionate and enthusiastic about education
maintain currency with changes to the curriculum or the law
be professional and confident at all times
be able to encourage and support staff whose potential quality may not be matched by their morale
be prepared to re-assess the situation swiftly and cogently where the agreed brief does not reflect the actual circumstances
maintain contact with Creative Education and use the company’s expertise in an open and professional manner
be able to work comfortably with all the people linked to the school, up to senior local authority officers
Availability
You must be able to work freelance and be reasonably available for work.
Assignments range from a few days a month to full time for a year.
Fees
A daily rate is negotiated and agreed for each placement commensurate with the level of post and attendant responsibilities.
Accommodation and travelling expenses are paid on top of the day rate for the placement.
