| Understanding Lesson Observation - Secondary |
|
|
With the new Ofsted inspection framework and the government focus on the quality of teaching, effective lesson observation is more important than ever before.
Our new and updated DVD series Understanding Lesson Observation will help you make accurate judgements time after time, and really see into the mind of an Ofsted inspector.
The DVD features a series of guides to the new framework from experienced inspectors helping you get a firm grasp of what the new framework is all about. Then with our library of 9 Secondary sample lessons you can practice your observations in a safe environment – either guided by an inspector’s commentary or without. At the end of each lesson our panel of inspectors unpick the key elements, helping you understand the key areas they weigh when coming to a decision.
The DVD package also comes with a great selection of extras. There are top tips for how to conduct your lesson observations sensitively and professionally, advice on adult learning if you need to train your staff on the new framework, plus other bonus footage.
The 9 lessons these DVDs contain are an amazing resource for your whole school covering English, Maths and Science at KS3 and 4, plus History and Dance and KS3 and Drama at KS4. In total there are over 10 hours of footage.
