Teaching assistants who regularly work with Key Stage 3 or GCSE maths classes will benefit from this course which will provide an introduction to key numeracy concepts and give practical suggestions for assisting effectively in the maths classroom. Delegates will also gain an understanding of assessment criteria for Key Stage 3 and GCSE and explore ideas for assessing students’ work and maximising progress.
