This course is suitable for teachers and heads of PE departments aiming to challenge their most gifted students and enable them to maximise their potential whilst retaining an enthusiasm for and enjoyment of PE.

Stretching students technically, physically and mentally

Encouraging students to reflect on their performance and offer strategies for improvement

Engaging gifted and talented students throughout the lesson and maintaining motivation

Practical strategies for stretching the more able in specific sports

Providing higher level cognitive tasks for gifted students (regardless of sporting ability)

Working towards an MA? Teachers attending this course have the opportunity to earn 20 Masters Level credits.
