Sarah Pavey has over 20 years of experience in schools both in the independent and maintained sectors. She holds a BSc in Biochemistry and a Masters in Information Studies and has a qualification for post 16 teaching. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (CILIP) and the Royal Society of Arts and is an ambassador for the European adult learning platform EPALE.
She works full time as a freelance trainer and consultant both at home and abroad. Sarah is the author of several books and has written many articles for the professional press. She presents regularly at conferences that have included BETT and Visible Learning. Sarah believes that media, digital and information literacy, reading and communication skills lie at the heart of modern education.
