Looked-after children are more likely to be excluded from school and are the least likely group to obtain any academic qualifications. This course is designed to help schools investigate the factors involved and to develop a strategy for supporting them. The strategies considered incorporate inter-agency and home/school arrangements as well as school-based ones.
