Observing Lessons in Special Schools Using the 2019 Ofsted Criteria

The complete A-Z of the Ofsted criteria - ensures no nasty surprises

On this course you will learn about the Ofsted Common Inspection Framework and the key judgements which inspectors will be making. We will work through the Grade Descriptors for each judgement and examine the key differences between the grades. Classroom observations are the most important evidence of the quality of learning and progress across the school and, using video lesson examples, we will look at and practise observation techniques, and including giving constructive feedback to colleagues and identifying CPD needs for future development.
