Using classroom dialogue to engage students in effective learning activities

Learning through talk explores how teacher questioning and teacher-pupil and pupil-pupil dialogue can be powerful motivational strategies and lead to deeper learning. The course will draw on the Assessment for Learning framework and delegates will gain a range of practical ideas for immediate use in their classroom, as well as techniques to reduce ‘off task’ behaviour.
