With 10% of children suffering from mental health problems, this should be recognised as a significant area of support and responsibility within our schools – and yet many school/college staff, feel somewhat unprepared and unsure about what they can and should be doing. This course – aimed at mainstream schools – will inform about mental health problems, national work and developments, and what we can do to empower colleagues to work positively with students with mental health problems.
