Addressing Concerns about Forced Marriage

It is a primary duty of all schools to help keep their children safe. Yet we know that schools are worried about issues surrounding forced marriage (including dishonour abuse and virginity testing) and how these affect their students – both female and male. However, they often lack the support to deal with the concerns about Forced Marriage appropriately. In this webinar, Aneeta Prem, founder of Freedom Charity, which works with survivors of Forced Marriage and those at risk, will help teachers, senior leaders and safeguarding leads to address these issues in a sensitive way, and will provide practical advice and tips for schools looking to cover these challenging issues.
