This talk comes at a critical time for students, their families, school leaders and all educators. Everyone is feeling the impact of the cost-of-living crisis, but how much can we predict about its impact on behaviour in schools? (Spoiler: quite a lot!)
Listeners will hear about where the research evidence points – which learning behaviours and abilities are most likely to be affected – and we will extrapolate to the kind of changes that could be made to diminish the impact on children and young people.
This matters to all of us because it impacts on all our work. What could you do differently in your classroom? What could be changed in your school systems? How could we support parents and carers more effectively?
