Have a Question?
How do I claim the funding?
The cost of the programme is £1,200 + VAT.
Once you book, we will send you a link to the form you can complete to sign up for a DfE grant (grants are currently available for all courses started by 31st March 2025). We will provide you with our specific course code and an invoice that you can use to prove you’ve booked.
Am I eligible for the grant?
All state-funded schools and colleges in England are eligible for the grant.
To find out further details about the precise criteria you can read further details from the DfE here.
Have a question about whether you’re eligible? Call us on 020 8680 4077.
What if the grants run out?
The DfE has made grants available for 1/3 of English schools, and currently there are still plenty left if you claim a grant for training that starts up to 31st March 2025.
Second grants are also available for eligible settings to train a replacement if the mental health lead trained with their first grant left before embedding a WSCA.
I'm not eligible, can I still take part?
Yes, absolutely. If you’re not eligible for a grant you’re still more than welcome to take part. At £1,200 the programme still represents incredible value for you and your school.
Who is the course suitable for?
We’ve designed the course to be suitable for aspiring, new-to-role and intermediate mental health leads from a wide range of phases.
With a large selection of on-demand courses to choose from, you’ll be able to create a peronslaised development pathway that suits the needs of you and your setting.
How long is the course?
The online course is for 2 terms, and is delivered entirely online.
During the programme you will have 6 online meetings lasting 90 minutes with a selection of your peers in your coaching circles. The remainder of your learning will come through on-demand courses and practical tasks that you can fit around your schedule to suit.
We would suggest you set an aside an hour a week to complete the self-study and on demand learning tasks.
The face to face course is run over 2 days a few months apart.
