    Ruth Baker-Leask

    Former headteacher and primary English specialist, Ruth is passionate about supporting schools and their communities to improve the literacy and English outcomes. Knowing that literacy is the gateway to children’s future academic, social, economic and personal success, Ruth strives to instil a passion for and understanding of the power of language in all those she works with. Ruth is currently the chair of the National Association of Advisers in English (NAAE), an associate consultant for the National Literacy Trust (NLT), a United Kingdom Literacy Association (UKLA) committee member and works closely with a number of Academy Trusts and school networks up and down the country
