Consultancy
Our consultancy partnership service is designed to assist local authorities in meeting the aims of Every Child Matters.
Creative Education’s experienced consultants have held senior leadership positions in education. Many are also school inspectors and improvement partners currently involved in school evaluation.
We work with schools individually or as groups within a federation. We have the expertise to provide authority-wide training days to cover your professional development needs.

Our consultancy includes; |
Subject Evaluation
We provide independent external subject evaluation for individual schools and/or across the whole local authority.
This evaluation fills the inspection gap and assists schools with their own process of self evaluation. It provides the local authority with a report on progress and performance across its schools.

Each subject report gives an evaluation of the key areas associated with Every Child Matters.

We work in partnership with the local authorities and individual schools to meet their current needs and, by providing ongoing monitoring and support, ensure there is the capacity for continuous improvement |

| Leadership management |
- Reviewing behaviour improvement strategies including BIP and inclusion procedures
- Evaluation of extended school provision – reviewing outcomes for different groups
- Providing training and development in AfL across the local authorities and within schools
- Reviewing current practice for recruitment arrangements within schools
- Providing mentoring and coaching for senior leaders including induction for new headteachers
- Assisting schools with the self evaluation process and SEF writing
- Ofsted preparation
- Training in lesson observations and feedback skills
- Evaluation of ‘work-life balance’
- Timetabling on an individual school basis or across the local authority to allow for curriculum development and the use of resources

We are aware of budgetary constraints and the need for careful planning for all strategic development. Therefore, our consultant will give a clear financial appraisal following the initial diagnostic visit.
Creative Education has the consultant capacity to deliver these services in almost every aspect of education.
Recent consultancy work has included reviews of Local Authority special educational needs provision, inclusion advisor training in many Local Authorities, overall guidance and direction of a pupil referral unit, subject leader guidance in schools where departments need support, and general advisory work with clusters of schools.
