Speaker: Kat Stern, Behaviour consultant (secondary) EP consultancy - @KatStern4
As a consultant, Kat specialises in SEMH support and wider school behaviour systems. She has had a long career as a classroom and practical teacher, moving into leadership of behaviour in a large inner-city academy. She spent four years running a unit for students at risk of exclusion, which included many students with diagnosed and undiagnosed mental health difficulties, with whom she worked closely every day. Kay has a particular interest in mental health research, particularly trauma, and has run a trial of a trauma-informed strategy in a young offenders’ institute.
