Module 2 of 15
In Progress

Rewards and sanctions

In this module, Matt turns his attention to the role that rewards and sanctions can play in managing student behaviour in class. He explains that effective behaviour management requires preventative, corrective and supportive actions and that rewards and sanctions only form two-thirds of that process, and therefore more thought should be given to what happens next to restore a situation and ensure the continuation of learning.
