The short version
These terms apply when your school or organisation books in-house or bespoke training from us. You can cancel free within 7 days of booking. After that, if you cancel 60 days or more before the session you get all your money back, 45 to 59 days 75%, 30 to 44 days 50%, and nothing under 30 days. Moving the date costs £90, or up to half the fee if it’s less than 30 days away. Invoices are due within 28 days, or before the course date if that’s sooner. Please don’t book our associates directly for three years after your course. The full terms below take priority over this summary.
1. What we’ll deliver
We’ll deliver the training set out in your booking confirmation, led by one or more suitably experienced and qualified Creative Education associates.
We’ll make every effort to deliver it as agreed. If something beyond our control stops us, neither Creative Education Limited nor its directors or employees will be liable for any loss or damage that results. Instead, we’ll offer you a session to replace it within 18 months, or a refund.
2. Who can book
By making a training enquiry and booking with us, however you do it, you confirm that the right person at your school or organisation has authorised the spending.
3. Changes to your booking
Your booking confirmation sets out what we’ll deliver, based on what you told us.
- To change what you need, send us a Client Change Request Form at [email protected].
- You can ask for changes less than 30 days before the training, but depending on what they are, we may not be able to make them.
- We can’t be responsible for not delivering a change you haven’t sent us in this way.
Number of people
Your price covers training for up to a set number of people. If more people will attend, tell us as soon as you can on the Client Change Request Form. If you don’t tell us in advance, we’ll charge an extra fee in line with our current costs.
4. Your part
- You choose the right development goals for the training, choose the people who will benefit from it, and brief them on what it is, how it will run and when.
- Where needed, you provide the room, projector or screen, catering and refreshments, at your own cost.
- For full-day training, please offer refreshments and lunch to our associates.
5. Paying
Please pay your invoice in full within 28 days of receiving it, or before the course date, whichever is sooner.
6. Cancelling and moving the date
You can cancel without charge within 7 days of making your booking, whether you booked online, by phone or by post. After that, these terms apply.
All cancellations must be in writing, by email to [email protected]. We refund the training fee as follows:
- 60 days or more before the course: 100%
- 45 to 59 days before the course: 75%
- 30 to 44 days before the course: 50%
- less than 30 days before the course: nothing
Moving the date
Moving your training to another date costs a £90 administration fee. If it’s less than 30 days before the training, we may charge a postponement fee of up to 50% of the training fee.
7. Our associates
Our associates have a wide range of experience, and many also work on their own account. When you book with us, you agree not to buy the services of any associate we supply to deliver your training for three years after the date of your course.
If you do, you agree to pay us what we would have charged you for that work, at £1,250 per day + VAT, even if you’ve already paid the associate directly.
8. Places and our brand
Places on the training can’t be resold to other organisations without our express permission. If we give permission, we must agree anything that uses our branding before it’s published.
9. What the training is, and isn’t
Our training, courses and materials can’t be relied on for legal interpretation. Neither Creative Education Limited nor its employees or associates can accept responsibility for the actions of the people trained, or of anyone else who reads the course notes or interprets the training in legal proceedings, or for any loss from relying on the training or the course notes.
