This is a recording of a past webinar.

University can seem a huge challenge, as much for parents as for autistic young people themselves.  However, universities now offer a range of transition help, accommodations, campus and academic support that autistic students can take advantage of.  We will share stories of autistic students who have made that move – leaving home and going to university and share the hints, tips and support that they accessed to help them do so.

Takeaways:

1.  There is help right from the beginning, from Open Days to setting in.

2.  Explaining the support you need is the best thing you can do.

3.  There are many ways to express yourself, be yourself and find your tribe at university.
