When and How to Make Targeted and Specialist Referrals: A Guide for School Staff and Parents

Psychotherapist & Director of Headsight, Tony France will explore at what point it is appropriate for us to refer to child and adolescent mental health services or other external agencies.  He’ll go on to consider the steps we can take to make the best possible referral and increase the likelihood of a child receiving help when needed.  Finally, we’ll take a pragmatic look at the alternatives to over-stretched services and what to do in a crisis situation.
