This course covers how to respond if a student makes a disclosure regarding their gender, sexual or romantic orientation, as well as the actions that we can and cannot take .
Dr Gray Felton is Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Coordinator at Notting Hill and Ealing High School, and Consultant Teacher for SEND at The Girls’ Day School Trust. They have worked in mainstream and special schools for over fifteen years as a specialist teacher and SENDCo. They have experience working with students from reception to degree level, with a wide range of physical disabilities and learning difficulties. Starting out as an Art teacher, Dr Felton completed their PhD in 2011, and was Post Doctoral Research Scholar at The Institute of Education, University College London until 2015.
