Course Content

This is a past recording of a webinar. We’ll explore what autistic girls say helps and hinders their access to school and how we can use these ideas to make school feel like a supportive, safe environment where they can flourish. We’ll consider universal strategies and also look at specific ways of helping autistic girls who are currently not attending or often absent, late or struggling to engage.

We’ll be learning from Dr Ruth Moyse, whose PhD research used the experience of adolescent female non-attenders to co-develop practical recommendations for schools.
