Spot and Support: Emotionally Based School Avoidance
Particularly in the current context of Covid-19, as the country starts to return to the new normal, we are finding now more than ever that more and more young people are avoiding school for emotional reasons. Throughout this course, we will learn what emotionally based school avoidance is and is not. We will also consider what we can do to support young people to get them back into school and staying in school.
Jessica Parker has diverse experience of working in both primary and secondary schools as a teacher and pastoral lead, Jessica is an international mental health education trainer and is enthusiastic about supporting young people with all aspects of their learning and lives.
