Spotting the Early Warning Signs of Eating Disorders/Eating Difficulties
In this course, we will outline ‘The 4 As,’ a useful tool to help you to remember how to be vigilant. In turn, we will then explore the physical, behavioural and psychological indicators for each of the following disorders in turn: Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, Other Specified Feeding and Eating Disorder (OSFED, formerly EDNOS) and Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID).
This is part of a more detailed course, ‘Supporting young people with a suspected eating disorder or difficulty.’ Click here to do the whole course.
