Sensory stories are a hidden gem in the world of special education. These beautifully captivating stories created using concise text and rich and relevant sensory experiences can be wonderful for those who need a sensory approach to education, but more than that they can further enrich education promoting engagement for all. Consider the lessons you remember from school. Did they have sensory elements that secured them in your memory? Are there certain sensations that remind you of times and places?
