Addressing Concerns about Female Genital Mutilation

It is a primary duty of all schools to help keep their children safe, yet we know that while they are worried about abusive practices like female genital mutilation (FGM), they often lack the support to deal with them appropriately, particularly with girls and young women. In this webinar, which coincides with the International Day for the Elimination of FGM, Aneeta Prem, founder of Freedom Charity, which works with survivors of FGM and those at risk, will help schools to address the issue in a sensitive way, and will provide practical advice and tips for schools looking to cover this challenging issue with their pupils.
